| Question | What care is needed after treatment is over? |

| Answer | How long you can use your implants depends on how well you take care of your hygiene. If you neglect hygiene around the implant, tartar builds up and becomes inflamed just like natural teeth, and you may end up having to remove the implant. It is recommended to brush your teeth, use a toothbrush, use an electric toothbrush, and use a Water-Pik. Also, it is recommended that you visit the dentist at least once a year for 6 months to get a health checkup. |
